Mission Statement
St. Patrick Catholic School is a parochial, diverse, dual-language community centered in Jesus Christ. We partner with families to form educated, well-rounded, and morally responsible citizens who are prepared for college, career, and heaven.
Philosophy
We, at St. Patrick School, seek to develop moral and spiritual individuals. We expect our students to embrace the importance and value of prayer, personal reflection, and the guidance of Christ's message. Our students learn to appreciate, understand, and internalize the Catholic faith. Our goal is to develop a solid base in life strategies in order for them to make healthy and courageous choices.
Our primary focus encourages students to be responsible and respectful individuals able to appreciate diversity. We expect our students to assume responsible citizenship and to demonstrate positive social attitudes and ethical behavior.
We strive to foster in our students a positive sense of self-worth and to develop fully integrated individuals. Our goal is to provide opportunities for students to explore their individual talents through various venues. This emphasis will help our students to maintain a healthy, balance lifestyle.
St. Patrick School strives to provide a classroom environment that develops the whole child. Mastering academic standards and developing leadership, technological, and organizational skills is the immediate impetus behind all instruction.

History
St. Patrick School was established in 1952 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary sisters. Within two years, the school boasted eight classrooms, 280 students in grades 1 through 8, and a faculty of seven sisters and one lay teacher. The last two RSHM sisters on the faculty left at the close of the 1986-87 school year.
In 1977, a Kindergarten was established, enabling the school to address the needs of an increasing population. An extended care program was adopted in 1988, offering both morning and afternoon child-care; in 1994 it became known as "the Knights' Club." In 2014, St. Patrick School partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank to manage the on-site after-school program.
In order to enhance the students' language skills and prepare students for Kindergarten, a full-day Pre-School was opened in January of 2000. To assist the transition from Pre-school to Kindergarten, a Pre-Kinder program opened in 2006. 2015-16 marked the opening of the Transitional Kindergarten class.
Currently, St. Patrick Catholic School is headed by Mr. Mario Landeros, Principal, and staffed with 14 full-time lay teachers in Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Patrick Catholic School is accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) & the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC).
